The McKim's got it. I mentioned wearing a theme color throughout the family and Rossett hit it right on the nose. This cute family was a lot of fun to hang out with. It was my privilege to capture this moment in their lives. They were so much fun to "shoot."

13 years ago I had a little class of 5 year olds that I absolutely adored. One of them turned 18 this past weekend. {{SCREEEECH!}} Wow how time flies.

Katriana's dress is one that I will take once I've reached my goal on "The Challanege". I couldn't have dreamed up a better dress. WOW!!! Her and her sister have always had flair and style. Such was the party and THE DRESS.

Christmas begins on the Eve of. We leave Santa's favorite shortbread cookies next to his hot coca that is topped with marshmallows and a candy cane that hangs on one side of the mug. Santa always leaves a bible for one of the kids because he believes in Jesus like we do. I hope yours is as sweet as ours. MERRRY CHRISTMAS!!

Natural, colorful, and exquisite are my Mom's arrangements and I'm not just saying that. I recommend her because she's the best at floral arrangement. Have a look for yourself and I wish you the Merriest of Christmases today and this weekend. I'm feeling merry 'cuz I'm almost done with my shopping--keyword: almost. ;) And I love going out in the buckets of rain. It gives me a good reason to buy an oversized umbrella. You know, those kinds that are big enough to cover all 5 of us but I digress.

I just was walking down to take a seat beside my hubby because we like sitting in the front row of the sanctuary. But along the way, Stacey stopped and greeted me and followed by popping the question, "Will you take pictures of my kids and nieces?"

Fast forward to some of many beautiful photos I took that cold, wintry day. The kids were all great sports and well deserved the balloons.

It's my goal to follow these dolls through pictures, through their life!

No one came in a black tie on Thanksgiving like I requested. Only my lil' bro did and I was thrilled. He even made sparkling cranberry elixirs in full black tie garb. Well yesterday I arranged for another family picture after seeing Jasmine's. Here are ours with the cutest picture of Ryder-bebeh.

Mariella & Rafael

She said this is part of his proposal: a Mariachi band blasting harmonies in key of E singing of happiness. So naturally, that same band played during major parts of their marriage ceremony. It made for something authentic, pure and connected everyone to the culture which so tightly is plugged into these two. This has to be one of the most meaningful weddings I've been to in a long time.Thank you to the wonderful, the talented Holly Steen of Cakes and Kisses Wedding Photography.

Both Holly, everyone around and I were caught up in Mariella's Mom's tears when she saw her daughter in her dress. Her Maid of Honor said she looked like Catherine Zeta-Jones and I agree. Her soul makes her that beautiful and the Mantilla veil seals the deal. I wish I took a picture of the bull in its pen at the front of her ranch home. This place is beautiful and immaculate. Holly says she has plans to come back and do a bridal session with Mariella's Dad's horses which live in stables in their backyard. NICE!

I am giving thanks for the little things like no teeth, drop dead cute smiles and chubbie cherub legs. Its the little things that make me smile and I'm thankful for my life and every minute that God allows me to enjoy my family and cute pictures like Jordan.

Featuring Great Harvest

There truly is a GREAT Harvest in town and I am their photographer... because my family and I eat their food a lot and they don't have stock I can buy.

Like the alluring aroma of Main Street in Disneyland, Great Harvest captivates just the same upon entering their fresh bakery heaven. And IT. IS. FRESH. Remember the saying in the 80's "Ah das fressshh"? Well this is "fressshhh." The only thing Alicia and Brad don't do is go into their backyard and harvest the wheat everyday. They have it delivered to them from the farms.

Then they mill the wheat in the back of the store and with the fresh flour, they make bread, fresh every morning. If you go in between 9 and 11 AM, you can taste the pipping hot bread. Want butter and honey on it? No problem, they have it ready for you to use. But let me warn you. IT. IS. ADDICTIVE. And remember Temecula Fields? Their jam is there to add to the trouble. ;)

As if the breads aren't enough to get you in a trance, they have AMAZING hot and cold sammies. Hubby and I are followers of their Turkey Pesto on the High-5 bread. Umhmm, its also deceitfully healthy. Oh yes, you will be fooled. Am I getting wierd? That is what good food does folks!

The pictures below are huge in an attempt to entice you because this bread doesn't make you sick and fat like the other stuff.

Family Brunch

Distance makes the heart grow fonder. Because of such love, my Uncle gathers the family together once a year to remember his lovely wife who passed, now, 5 something years ago. And because she was the type of glass-half-full type outlook, we celebrate her with laughter, my nutty Uncle and goood food that he treats us to.

Cleveland Wedding Photography!

My Hubbs has a handful of best friends. And while that seems like they're just buddies that know each other for a long time, it is faaar from that. Hubbs and his best buds are more like closely knit brothers. Afterall, they've stomped their grounds since preschool, practically. Because of that, this was the best wedding i've been to. The relationships were closer than a brother and something really deep to witness and be a part of.

AND LEMMIE TELL YOU about the food. You know how here in So Cali, we're like, "Oh let's go eat good Italian food at Romano's Restaurant?" Wellllll, the food ALL DAY was all homemade Italian straight from the area because its saturated with great Italian people who COOK. IT. GOOD! I don't have very many pictures of the food because, well, I feasted!

I don't like alcohol. The only wine I really like is from the local winery here in Temecula and its their blush. BUT! Vince's dad made the red wine. Sabino's (the Padre) red wine was gooood! There was something about it that just made it soo good. I wish I could've bottled it up and bring it home.
